Story

1991. The year the world wide web came to life; grunge music made a breakthrough and Bryan Adams spent a straight four months at number one.

It was also the year Aberdeen law firms C&PH Chalmers and Edmonds and Ledingham merged, creating Ledingham Chalmers Solicitors. Both founding firms had played a key role in the north east legal sector since the 1800s.

Since then, plenty’s changed. We’ve seen a few house price booms and busts, a new Millennium, devolution, Brexit, and a global pandemic.

Throughout it all, we’ve stayed focused on steady, sustainable growth.

This video explains more about our heritage, our culture and what’s next.
