In 2012, Stephen was accredited as a personal injury law specialist. Stephen is also qualified as a solicitor advocate. He specifically advises public sector and insurance companies on physical and psychological injury claims, occupational stress, and health and safety prosecutions. Stephen also advises private and public sector clients on civil litigation disputes, and has acted on behalf of a number of city and town councils within the North-east. Stephen teaches Advanced Civil Litigation on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen. He is also a senior tutor for the Diploma in Legal Practice at the Robert Gordon University.
