Sarah is head of our institutional litigation team and Edinburgh office, and works primarily with public sector clients, local authorities and major insurers. She routinely acts for clients in the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session. Her casework includes defending personal injuries, motor claims, occupational disease cases, defamation and privacy claims. Sarah also handles a range of commercial litigation, including various contractual claims involving public and non-public sector organisations. She advises on the requirements for lodging caveats and regularly prepares and lodges these at both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. Sarah is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury law.
