Douglas works within the firm’s private client sector, and regularly advises clients on matters relating to wills, trusts, executries, inheritance tax, planning and power of attorney.
Douglas also advises charitable bodies on various accounting requirements and offers legal counsel on the recent introduction of Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations (SCIOs). This includes the drafting of constitutions and the preparation of applications for charitable status.
