Thirty years of Ledingham Chalmers — heritage, culture, what's next

What year did the world wide web spring to life? When did grunge music make a breakthrough? And what was the year Bryan Adams spent a straight four months at number one?

It was 1991 of course.

It was the year I was studying for my diploma in legal practice at the University of Aberdeen while sporting a head of red highlights and my favourite Dr Marten's (which I still own).

It was also when Aberdeen law firms C&PH Chalmers and Edmonds and Ledingham merged, creating Ledingham Chalmers.

Since then, we've seen a few house price booms and busts, a new Millennium, devolution, Brexit and, of course, a global pandemic.

So how has our firm changed? What about our clients? And what's next?

Our video takes a look. Thanks to COVID-19, filming didn't begin until the end of last year. Luckily though, as you'll see, the weather played ball.
