The rise of the employment tribunal — Ledingham Chalmers’ experts on the road in April

Employers can find out more about how to avoid, or robustly defend, tribunal claims at two free events in Elgin and Inverness this month.

Employment law experts from full-service firm Ledingham Chalmers are speaking at a Press and Journal business breakfast in Elgin on 16 April and a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) event in the Highland capital the following week.

The firm’s head of employment law, partner Kirk Tudhope said: “We know the removal of tribunal fees has led to a dramatic rise in employment tribunal claims.

“At both these events we’ll be talking employers through what practical steps they can take to avoid finding themselves in this situation in the first place and — if that isn’t possible — how they can be best defend themselves.”
