Litigation PA/ Legal secretary - Aberdeen

Organised, proactive and good at keeping things moving? We’re looking for someone to join our busy Litigation team in Aberdeen.

We are looking for an organised and proactive PA / Legal Secretary to join our Litigation team in Aberdeen. This role is available on either a full-time basis or four days per week.

You’ll provide administrative and secretarial support to our partners and solicitors, helping the team deliver an efficient and professional service to clients.

The duties for this role include —

  • Managing diaries, appointments and schedules

  • Handling client calls, emails and enquiries

  • Preparing correspondence, legal documents and court papers

  • Audio typing and document production

  • Organising and maintaining electronic and paper files

  • Filing, scanning, photocopying and general document management

  • Assisting with client matter administration, including file opening and closing procedures

  • Supporting billing and compliance processes

  • Providing cover and administrative support across the wider Litigation team when required

Skills

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate —

  • Previous experience in a PA, Legal secretary or administrative support role

  • A professional and approachable manner when dealing with clients and colleagues

  • A well-organised approach, with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office

  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • A willingness to learn new systems and processes

Previous legal experience would be beneficial, particularly within litigation, but isn’t essential. We’re also keen to hear from experienced administrators who have the right skills and are interested in developing their career within the legal sector.
