Corporate law associate/senior associate

From high-profile management buy-outs to crafting framework agreements for energy supply chain clients, our corporate team has been at the centre of some of the most important deals in Scotland over the last few years.

Described in the latest Legal 500 rankings as "experienced, hands-on and extremely responsive", we're looking for an associate or senior associate to join us in Aberdeen.

Likely to have been qualified for at least five years, our ideal candidate will have strong drafting and negotiation skills and experience in either (or both) commercial contracts and M&A. You'll be an expert at managing your own workload as part of a supportive team working for a wide range of clients from entrepreneurial start-ups and established private and public companies to multinationals.

And while it's easy to say we offer a competitive salary and benefits package (we do), we know culture's so important when it comes to choosing the right firm. And we're proud of what we've created here at Ledingham Chalmers, not least in the last few months when we've quickly adapted to remote working and using the latest technology to get deals over the line when we couldn't meet clients in person.

If you'd like to find out a bit more about what it's like to work in our corporate team, check out this interview with trainee solicitor Wendy Harris from last year. Wendy started working with our firm in 1992 (so knows us inside-out) and here she talks about our culture, our people and the social and charitable side of Ledingham Chalmers.
