Our team’s growing! We’re recruiting an IT helpdesk assistant in Aberdeen — a role that calls for a proactive person who’ll act as the first point of contact for all our computer and digital-related queries, large and small.

At Ledingham Chalmers we’re known for the straightforward, specialist advice we give our clients. And technology plays an important role in making sure things run smoothly and we deliver on that promise.

That’s where you come in.

You’ll be able easily identify problems and help users quickly resolve them, and you’ll quickly spot whether the issue’s a bit more complex and calls for further troubleshooting from our IT experts.

Importantly too, you’ll be able to translate what’s happening with our systems and processes into layman’s terms, so our team knows exactly what’s going on.

The full-time role also involves —

  • Problem solving and responding to basic queries on our operating systems

  • Setting up meeting rooms for remote access and conference support, and overseeingthe set up and maintenance of PCs, printers and other hardware, as well as user log-ins

This role may well suit someone who has a recent HND or HNC IT qualification.
