Closing Date: 30 January 2019
We’re always on the look-out for talented people who bring a certain something to our firm.
And this time, we’re looking for someone with at least three years’ post-qualifying experience in commercial property — or strong candidates with general property law experience — to join our well-respected team in Inverness and become part of one of the largest real estate practices outside the central belt.
Our office in the Highland capital counts accredited specialists and recommended lawyers (Chambers and Legal 500) in construction, employment and litigation amongst our number. We’ve been established in the city for more than 25 years, and with other offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Stirling, we’re known for providing strategic straightforward advice for clients across a range of industries.
Of course, our next commercial property solicitor will have all the qualities you’d expect us to ask for: excellent attention to detail; a first-rate client care track record; good communication, time management and organisational skills; and the self-motivation to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision.
And in return, there’s plenty of valuable client contact. You’ll also have the chance to take part in our popular firm events and ongoing business development efforts, as well as advance your career in a supportive and friendly environment.
What’s more, we’ve got sustainable growth in our sights: focusing on high-potential areas that help drive the local economy such as the SME and business entrepreneurs markets; the oil services and renewable energy sectors; as well as farming, food, fisheries and forestry.
Our Inverness team handles a large variety of commercial work, representing a range of clients from individuals to large private and public sector organisations, including —
Last but definitely not least, the role comes with a competitive remuneration and holiday package.
Please send your CV with a covering letter, and apply by email to Nan McPherson, human resources advisor by Wednesday 30 January 2019.
